This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Recurr. 2. Information We Collect Information you provide: Account information: name, email address when you create an account Subscription data: names, amounts, billing cycles, and dates of subscriptions you add Usage check-in data: how frequently you use your subscriptions Information collected automatically: Device information: iOS version, device type (for compatibility) App usage patterns: which features you use (anonymous) Information we do NOT collect: Payment card numbers or banking information Actual transaction data from your bank Location data Contacts or calendar data Photos (unless you choose a custom subscription icon) 3. How We Use Your Information We use your information to: Provide and sync your subscription data across your devices Generate AI-powered spending insights and advice Send renewal reminders and usage check-in notifications Verify your Pro subscription status Improve the app experience 4. AI Features When you use the AI Assistant or AI Advisor features, your subscription names, amounts, billing cycles, and usage ratings are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate personalised advice. This data is processed through our secure backend proxy. We do not send personally identifiable information such as your name or email to Gemini. Data Storage and Security Your data is stored in two places: On your device using Apple's SwiftData framework In our secure cloud database (Supabase) for sync and backup We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Your Supabase data is protected by Row Level Security — only you can access your own data. 6. Data Sharing We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except: Google Gemini API (AI features only, subscription data only) Apple (for payment processing and App Store services) Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure) We do not display advertisements and do not share data with advertisers. 7. Authentication We offer sign-in via Email, Google, and Apple. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive only your name and email address. We do not receive your passwords from these providers. Passwords for email accounts are hashed and encrypted — we never store plain text passwords. 8. Pro Subscription and Payments All payments for Recurr Pro are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card information. Refund requests are handled through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Promo codes are stored securely in our database and verified server-side. Redeemed codes are tracked to prevent abuse. 9. Data Retention We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. Local device data is removed immediately when you delete the app. 10. Your Rights You have the right to: Access your personal data Correct inaccurate data Delete your account and all associated data Export your subscription data Opt out of notifications at any time To exercise these rights, use the account settings in the app or contact us at the email below. 11. Children's Privacy Recurr is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
